It’s been a hugely successful year for creative arts students at Kendal College as they begin work on their final major projects.

Exciting futures lie ahead of them as they take up their degree places at many of the top universities around the country in September, with many students from across all the creative subjects gaining places at world-class destinations.

Foundation and Extended Diploma art & design students will be taking up places at Central Saint Martins London, Royal School of Needlework, London College of Communication, Edinburgh and Northumbria University. Performing arts students have gained places at LAMDA, LIPA, Royal Central, Royal Scottish and East 15 and music students will be continuing onto LIPA (Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts), Leeds College of Music, Manchester BIMM and Salford School of Arts and Media.

All of these talented young students have grown and matured into creative and motivated people during their time at Kendal College and have pushed themselves to achieve above and beyond their expectations.

Now they can look forward to progressing onto their chosen degree courses into challenging and rewarding careers. Britain’s creative industries are at the heart of the country’s competitive advantage and are a crucial part of the future economy, and Kendal College has been the starting point for these students, encouraging them to go out there and make a difference.
