Course Overview

Eyelash Extensions are a popular service and product that lengthens and thickens your own natural eyelashes. Lash Extensions are single strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. They are applied to each individual natural eyelash one by one.

You will learn about:

- Contra-indication
- Equipment & Materials
- Eyelash application
- Eyelash Curves, thickness, and length
- Removal
- Trouble shooting
- Patch Test
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Hygiene and health and safety
- Aftercare and contra actions

You will be observed throughout the course. To assess your skills and knowledge you will complete a short written test on the day.

Entry Requirements

A patch test must be performed 24-48 hours prior to the start of the course.

You will need to have a Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification or equivalent.

Course fees are per year for full-time & degree-level courses, and per course for part-time ones. The current full-time & degree-level fee information is related to the 2019/20 academic year and is subject to change before the start of the course. Fees for 2020/21 will be updated in the Spring Term. There may also be additional costs associated with the course.

This course is not funded by the government and is full cost. As such, the course is the price stated for all students. If you are paying for your course, there may be the option to pay by instalments if the course fees are over £200 and the course duration is 15 weeks or more. Please speak to Student Services for more information on course fees.
